In Red Ball 8, your mission is to control the ball to move, jump, and overcome obstacles. Defeat enemies and avoid dangerous traps.
Complete the levels by getting your chosen ball to the finish line safely. Defeat enemies that appear along the way and jump on top of them.
Collect stars and items to increase your score and unlock rewards.
Left/Right arrow keys: move the ball.
Up arrow key: jump over obstacles and high walls or kick enemies.
Down key: in some maps, to interact or make the ball crouch low.
Combine jumping and moving forward to create a long jump over gaps or climb slopes.
In Red Ball 8, you will start your adventure by choosing 1 of 4 lovely ball characters on the main screen:
After choosing a ball, you will embark on a journey through many levels full of traps, monsters, and logic challenges.
Calculate the jump force accurately: hold the up arrow key longer to jump higher, press quickly to jump lower, and make it suitable for each situation.
Observe the traps before rushing in: traps such as spikes, falling iron boxes, or rotating hammers all have a rhythm; wait for the right moment before passing.
Move slowly in narrow sections: small roads can easily fall into holes, rolling slowly is safer.
Make use of boxes and objects: push boxes to make bridges over deep holes or use them to block traps.
Jump and hit enemies accurately: only jump from above to kill monsters; if you collide horizontally, you will lose blood.
Collect smart stars: prioritize easy-to-get stars, don't risk jumping into traps just for a single star.
Remember the map: each time you lose, you will learn the location of the traps, so you can pass faster next time.
