Plonky is a multi-level platformer game, each level is an adventure of the main character. Players need to use smart calculations to overcome all situations.
Rope swing: helps the character overcome deep chasms, spikes, or high walls that cannot be jumped over directly. To be able to swing safely, you need to be able to keep track of the rhythm and reaction time of the player.
Wall climbing: The character needs to move vertically, overcoming vertical walls or narrow gaps between two walls.
Push the container: Giant barrels are used as jumping platforms, blocking traps, or floating buoys across the lake. You need to observe and push the barrel properly so that it reaches the required position. Pushing in the wrong direction will cause the barrel to drift far or fall into the abyss, forcing you to restart the level.
Spin trap: This is a basic obstacle but kills you immediately upon impact. It will be attached to moving objects, so you need to observe the movement cycle to skillfully overcome it safely.
Automatic arrows: when the character enters the sensor area, the bow automatically shoots arrows in a fixed direction. To get past that dangerous area, you need to use a wooden crate or wall to block the arrows and then run through.
Dynamite: They will explode if impacted by a force. Used to destroy obstacles, open secret paths, or activate hidden mechanisms.
If Poor Eddie makes players "brain-twisting" because it helps the character escape death, Plonky challenges the ingenuity and calculation to overcome obstacles.
The special feature of the game is the intelligent use of force and gravity, creating situations that are both brain-damaging and humorous. It looks simple, but helping Plonky land safely is not easy.
In Plonky, players can control the character with the following keys:
Watch before you act: Don't rush; pay attention to the direction of the trap, rock, or arrow before moving forward.
Combine flexible skills: Sometimes you have to climb the rope and jump or swing at the right rhythm to avoid falling.
Learn from failure: Every death is a lesson. Remember the location of the trap to avoid it next time.
