About Cosmic Dash

Description

Cosmic Dash will bring you a completely new visual experience of rolling the ball. The balls are uniquely designed with a path arranged from square blocks.

Cosmic Dash game setting

  • Minimalist 3D space: The entire playground is set in a black abstract space, evoking the feeling of outer space.
  • Main track: Made up of square blocks arranged together, forming a path floating in the air. These blocks can disappear, appear, or create high and low steps, forcing players to move skillfully.
  • Main object: The silver/white ball that the player controls, rolling forward on the block strip.
  • Reward items: Gold coins or glowing symbols, placed along the track for players to collect.
  • Visual style: Minimalist, sharp design, many shiny cubes, creating a modern and slightly arcade classic feel.

Balls in Cosmic Dash

Sputnik: a smooth round sphere with a few protruding rods representing antennas. It looks like the original Sputnik satellite but minimalist and low-poly.

Voyager: a larger sphere with additional parabolic dishes or protruding details representing directional antennas. It looks like a mini remote sensing satellite floating in space.

Pioneer: a flat sphere with concentric rings surrounding it, creating the feeling of a space station module. The surface has many distinct geometrical patches, large block segments.

Cassini: a layered sphere, with many outer rings like a protective shell.

How to play Cosmic Dash

Controlling the sphere: You will play as a space ball rolling nonstop on a road made of cubes.

Movement: The ball will automatically roll at a moderate speed. Your task is to press the left/right arrow keys or A/D to make it change lanes. Jump with the spacebar or up arrow key to overcome obstacles or empty holes.

Goal: keep your ball as far as possible while collecting as many coins as possible on the way.

Challenge: The path will not be flat; there will be disappearing blocks, raised blocks, or unexpected gaps. The further you go, the faster the speed, requiring quick and accurate reflexes.

Game Over: If the ball falls off the path, the game ends.
